With half of our guys coming from games, this will be more of a recovery night. For those doing recovery, after the team stretch you are on your own.
Team Stretch
Dynamic stretching series:
- 90/90 rollovers
- T-Spine Ceiling Reaches
- Walking Toe Touches
- Lunge Reach Backs
- Dead Hangs
- Squat Holds
- Ankle Rolls
Cage Work / Bullpens and Fielding
- Nate to Catch 3 Bullpens
- Bullpens will be 15-20 pitches w/catcher (Noah/Braylen/Wyatt)
- Another 10-15 pitches to 9-pocket
- Pitching List: Noah/Chase/Braylen/Eli/Caden/Wyatt
- Eli/Chase/Caden will be working exclusively to 9 pockets on hitting side of facility AFTER bullpens from Noah/Braylen/Wyatt are complete.
- This group should hit in cages / do whatever necessary to prep for bullpen during Noah/Braylen/Wyatt Pens
- Cage Work
- Get Loose on own
- 2-3 Rounds off machine, fastballs for 2 rounds then off-speed
- Once bullpens for Noah/Braylen/Wyatt are complete, hitters will move to pitching side and get fungo work
Lift / Recovery Work
With several coming of multiple games in the last 24 hours, straight to recovery. Normatec boots, ice bath, sauna, cupping etc. Take advantage of the facility.
If lifting, focus on core and stability work. Preparation for summer is in full swing now.
