- Pitching
- Great job throwing strikes from the entire group. (68% strikes on the weekend)

- Only 12 K’s overall as team; Let’s focus on putting batters away
- Hitting
- 25’s, 16 K’s with a runner on base, 15 BB’s. Need to get this closer to 2:1 BB:K ratio
- 2-11 w/5 K’s from leadoff spot. Leadoff batter of an inning only got on 5 times to start an inning all weekend.
- Positive Note: I like the aggression overall. We need to dial it back a tad w/2 strikes and adjust our approach and swing. Eli, hell of a job twice this weekend. Once on a bunt, and then a backside ground ball to get a run in. Cregger, same thing. 2 good at bats getting a ball to the right side. Brody backside single for an RBI. Braylen and Na’im, good work going oppo. Caden great job covering the plate this weekend. Cam, stay aggressive. I will take that all day. Solid line drive thru the middle on Friday. We need that.
- Defense
- Need to tighten it all up. Outfield, work back behind the ball. Infield, read the hops, adjust the tempo and once you have the ball, get rid of it.
- We’re going to have to get creative in South Carolina, but we’ll figure it out and continue hammering out ground balls and tracking.
- Practice Tonight
- Bullpens: Expecting to not have Nate so we will throw to 9-pockets. For most, this should be a Stuff night aka Velo. Let loose a bit. FB-CH-Breaking Balls. Let the arm eat.
- Hitting: Let’s focus on 2-0/3-0 Hacks and bunting/backside hitting. Big swings. Let’s get the barrels flying. Then move the runner.
- I want more aggression early. That’ll be the early focus. Then we move to getting bunts down and working behind the runners. We need to be a more complete hitting group as a whole.
