DIVISION I — MID MAJOR (FL / GA / SC / AL)

(Examples: FGCU, Stetson, Jacksonville, Mercer, Georgia State, FIU, Jacksonville State, UNF, FAU)

Middle Infield (SS / 2B)

Preferred Profile

  • Height: 5’10″–6’2″
  • Weight: 165–190
  • 60 Time: 6.5–6.9
  • Exit Velocity: 90–100+ mph
  • Infield Velocity: 85–92 mph
  • GPA: 3.2+

Notes

  • Speed + defense matters most
  • Arm strength separates SS from 2B

Corner Infield (3B / 1B)

Preferred Profile

  • Height: 6’0″–6’4″
  • Weight: 190–225
  • 60 Time: 6.8–7.3
  • Exit Velocity: 95–105+ mph
  • Infield Velocity (3B): 88–95 mph
  • GPA: 3.0+

Notes

  • Power is king
  • 1B must REALLY hit

Center Field

Preferred Profile

  • Height: 5’9″–6’2″
  • Weight: 165–190
  • 60 Time: 6.3–6.7
  • Exit Velocity: 90–100 mph
  • OF Velocity: 85–95 mph
  • GPA: 3.0+

Notes

  • Speed is most important
  • Defense + range

Corner Outfield

Preferred Profile

  • Height: 6’0″–6’4″
  • Weight: 180–220
  • 60 Time: 6.6–7.1
  • Exit Velocity: 95–105+ mph
  • OF Velocity: 88–95 mph
  • GPA: 3.0+

Catchers

Preferred Profile

  • Height: 5’10″–6’3″
  • Weight: 175–210 lbs.
  • Pop Time: 1.85–1.95
  • Catcher Velocity: 80–88 mph
  • Exit Velocity: 95–100+ mph
  • 60 Time: 7.0–7.4
  • GPA: 3.0+

Elite Mid Major Catcher

  • Pop: 1.88 or better
  • Arm: 84+ mph
  • Exit: 95+ mph

Starting Pitchers

  • Height: 6’0″–6’5″
  • Velocity: 86–92 mph (HS Junior/Senior)
  • Breaking Ball: 72–80 mph
  • Command matters

Relievers

  • Velocity: 88–94 mph
  • Can be shorter

Left-Handed Pitchers

  • Velocity: 84–90 mph
  • Projection matters heavily
  • Command valued more

DIVISION II (South)

(Examples: North Greenville, Lander, Columbus State, Tampa, West Florida)

  • 60: 6.9–7.4

  • Pop: 1.90–2.05
